Additionally, Bacillus subtilis has been associated with digestive enzyme production, aiding in the digestion of food and the supporting against gastrointestinal disorders.
Soil-based probiotics, like Bacillus subtilis, are often considered superior to other probiotics due to their exceptional resilience and ability to survive the acidic environment of the stomach, ensuring they reach the intestines where they can be most beneficial. Their inherent stability means they don't require refrigeration and maintain potency over time and their robust nature allows for a potentially broader impact on the gut microbiome.
Bacillus coagulans is a soil-based probiotic that supports gut health by enhancing the balance of the intestinal microbiota, contributing to improved digestion and reducing symptoms of occasional bloating, gas, and diarrhea. It also supports the immune system by producing short-chain fatty acids, which are crucial for gut health and the natural resistance against chronic diseases.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I give Kibble Fixer to my raw fed dog?
Of course! Probiotics, enzymes and phytonutrients are important for all dogs. While Kibble Fixer was designed to fill nutritional gaps in cooked and processed diets, it pairs great with raw diets. This is especially true for HPP (high pressure pasteurized) raw foods since the processing can change the nutritional composition of the food).
Where does the liver come from?
The liver in Kibble Fixer is from rBGH-free, grass fed and finished cattle raised in Montana and New Zealand. Our cattle are raised without mRNA vaccines.
Can I give Kibble Fixer with other probiotics?
Yes! Because Kibble Fixer uses soil-based probiotics, it's more likely they will colonize in the colon, not the small intestine. This helps prevent SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth).
Should I keep Kibble Fixer in the fridge?
The liver in Kibble Fixer is carefully freeze-dried to keep it shelf stable. But liver contains fats, which can oxidize when exposed to light and oxygen for long periods of time. If not using Kibble Fixer within 3-4 weeks, it's best to keep it in the fridge to maintain the integrity of the fats.
What other products go well with Kibble Fixer?
Kibble is low in fat and notoriously high in harmful omega-6 fats. Safe-Sea is a sustainable and powerful source of omega-3 fats that should be added to all canine diets. Protect also helps doges detoxify from the environmental toxins often found in processed foods, including atrazine, glyphosate and heavy metals.
